Primary Care

We are committed to providing the most comprehensive and individualized quality primary care to our patients. Our healthcare providers promote healthy living and disease prevention through periodic health examinations, including blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and cancer screenings. Preventative care, such as, immunizations and vaccines, dietary and exercise education, and the management of chronic diseases are all part of our coordination of patient care philosophy. Our office will help you stay on track by sending annual reminders about your upcoming physical exam and screenings. We coordinate all services, including laboratory testing, imaging, specialty care and referrals.

Female Wellness Care

If you prefer an overall healthcare provider to address your primary care and well woman care in one visit, Constance Chang, FNP, a highly qualified nurse practitioner is available by appointment at our office. Constance provides yearly well woman exams, including pap and pelvic exams. She manages common gynecologic concerns, and provides contraceptive counseling and management, including oral hormonal contraception and Nexplanona® implants.

Treating Various Injuries

Cuts, burns, and fractures are serious, painful injuries and require immediate medical attention. When you come to us for medical services, we take you to the treatment center immediately to begin treatment. Our office is capable to repair simple lacerations and provide basic fracture and sprain care.


Routine immunizations are crucial for building your immune system against the spread of disease. Vaccines are a highly effective way to prevent needless illnesses, such as the seasonal flu. Our office follows all of the guidelines set forth by the CDC regarding the administration of immunizations.

Vaccines and titers needed for school/college physical requirements are available at our office. Forms or paperwork stating which vaccines/titers required are necessary to determine which vaccines are needed. Routine vaccines are only given to established primary care patients of Dartmouth Medical Center. Some vaccinations my not be covered by your health insurance. Please contact your insurance company for your coverage details.

Hospital Coverage

Hospital care is provided for patients at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River. Dartmouth Medical Center patients are directed to St. Anne's Hospital for both emergency services and inpatient hospital care. Dr. Butler does not round on patients in the hospital. A group of specialized hospitalists and nursing patient care coordinators treat and coordinate care for our patients.

For more information about the hospital and for directions please visit: Saint Anne's Hospital. There are no coverage services available for Dr. Butler's patients at St. Luke's, Charlton Memorial or Tobey Hospitals.
